【イベント】ルーメンプリントワークショップ／MIDORI. so STUDIO

昨年も開催されたルーメンプリントのワークショップ。
今年は青写真も新たに追加され、ボリュームアップして帰ってきました！

本ワークショップでは、日光を利用する2つの写真技法、ルーメンプリントと青写真を体験していただきます。
感光性の薬品を塗布した印画紙に植物や布、ステンシルなどのオブジェクトを配置し、紫外線に当てて反応させます。素材や湿度、熱、光の条件によって出来上がりが大きく異なるので、結果が予測しにくいのが特徴です。ルーメンプリントでは柔らかく予測できない色合い、青写真ではその名の通り深いプルシアンブルーの色合いに仕上がります。

ワークショップ冒頭に、それぞれにまつわる歴史や技法、制作物の例などについて簡単な説明を行います。
プリントに必要な材料もこちらで用意しておりますので、植物や花、布、ステンシルなどお好きなオブジェクトをご持参ください！

Every year, we host a Lumen Printing workshop, and this year we’re adding Cyanotype as well.

Every year, we hold an alternative photographic processes workshop called Lumen Printing. This year, we are adding Cyanotype printing to the mix.

Photographic paper coated with light-sensitive materials is combined with objects such as plants, fabrics, or stencils, then exposed to UV light. The reaction between the materials, moisture, heat, and light produces unique results—from the soft, unpredictable tones of Lumen prints to the deep Prussian blue of Cyanotypes.

The session begins with a brief introduction to the history, techniques, and creative possibilities of both processes. Participants may bring their own materials, and additional items will be provided.
